How to access our services
Families can contact Kids Are Kids! directly to access most of our therapy services. A referral from a doctor or other allied health professional is not required.
Paediatricians can refer to Kids Are Kids! via phone or letter at which time the family will be contacted to offer services.
Where families are seeking to register their child in the KidStart Early Intervention Program it must be demonstrated that the child meets the diagnostic eligibility criteria. A written referral from a medical officer or paediatrician detailing the child’s diagnosis or written confirmation of registration with the Disability Services Commission is required. For further details regarding the specific eligibility criteria please contact the KidStart Coordinator.
If your child does not meet funding criteria and you are having to cover therapy costs privately, you may find our Scholarship Program useful. Enquire about our 2018 Scholarship Program by emailing email@example.com.

Our main centre is located in Bateman and here you can access Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Clinical Psychology. Our Rockingham centre provides Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy and Clinical Psychology and we are excited to announce we are now providing services in the Great Southern. Speech Pathology services are now available in our Mt Barker office, we are thrilled to be offering this service to regional communities in need.

What to bring to the first appointment
It is very helpful to the team at Kids Are Kids! if we have specific information that you may have collected from different health professionals &/or teacher. So bring with you any reports or documents you may feel are relevant.
Private Health Insurance Rebates
Private health insurance rebates are claimable for therapy and Clinical Psychology services that attract a fee. The amount of rebate does vary depending on the type of service provided. So families are advised to contact their insurance fund to find out the rebates that apply to specific services.
We are committed to making our services accessible and affordable to all families and provide HICAPS so can process your Private Health Insurance and Medicare claims on the spot.
Government Funded Programs
Kids Are Kids! is an approved WA NDIS service provider and can work with you, your family and your LAC (Local Area Coordinator) to develop a therapy plans that best meets the therapy needs of your child. Kids Are Kids! is also a registered service provider of Helping Children with Autism (HCWA) and Better Start.
