Therapy Scholarship Program

The Kids Are Kids! Therapy Scholarship Program has been supporting the most vulnerable children in our community for many years.

What is the Scholarship Program?

Our Therapy Scholarships provide fully-funded tailored therapy and support plans for children and families with high therapy needs but limited or no access to any funded services.

Who is the Scholarship Program for?

The Scholarship Program is available to any child in Western Australia where the below may apply:

  • Child is not eligible for government funding
  • Child has not yet got a diagnosis to access government funding and is in critical need of support
  • Child is not receiving the adequate government funding they need to meet their therapy needs
  • Families who do not have the financial means to access private services

How do I apply?

Applications are open for a short period annually each year.  To be notified when applications open, subscribe to our mailing list.

How are applicants chosen?

All applicants are assessed by a panel of Kids Are Kids! management, therapists and donors who meet in person to discuss each submission.

How many Scholarships are given each year?

Scholarships are fully funded by the generosity of our valued partners and sponsors and as such, the number of scholarships available change from year to year.

Scholarships for 2024/25 are NOW OPEN.

We are so grateful to Azure Capital Foundation, Yellow Umbrella Foundation, Grant Thornton Foundation and Powerhouse Dreams for their generous support.
