Hundreds come together to celebrate Kids Are Kids!

Families and advocates of long-standing therapy and education provider Kids Are Kids! joined to celebrate a huge milestone in the organisation’s history. After 18 years of operation; management and staff have embraced a change in brand needed to represent the true professionalism of the service and to position themselves amongst major competitors in a changing industry sector.

Just short of 250 people enjoyed entertainment, great food and perfect weather at Bush Court in the grounds of Murdoch University on the weekend. CEO, Jane Barker was overwhelmed by the number of guests at the event, “Our benchmark was 150 guests, so we were thrilled to almost double our expectation of attendees – it really is testament to how much our families value the difference we make in their lives”.

The new brand is now reflective of the organisation’s personality and values of integrity, equality and optimism to name a few. “Over a 6 month period the team have been working tirelessly on strategically looking at our organisation from the outside in; the outcome is amazing and we couldn’t be happier to share the new Kids Are Kids! identity”, said Founder Wayne Revitt.

Children of all ages ran and danced in the sunshine while blowing bubbles, having faces painted, balloons twisted and jumping in a massive Camelot Castle. One lucky winner was so excited to receive the prize hamper filled with skill based developmental toys to the value of $250.

Supporters and Volunteers of Kids Are Kids! helped the not for profit organisation provide a brand launch with a difference to their families. “Many of the vendors supplied their services at a discounted or completely free cost and our corporate partner Grant Thornton put their hand up to help out on the day and we’re extremely grateful for that”, said Marketing Coordinator Amy Cikarela. Delicious food was served by Simply Paella, fresh juice and coffee by The Juicist and entertainment by Frosty Party Hire and singer 7 year old, Katie Price.

Kids Are Kids! continues to help children flourish through therapy and support. “Our Therapists are truly committed and passionate about helping children reach their potential; our Group Programs, Parent Seminars and Workshops plus Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Clinical Psychology services mean that families really do have access to the best services all under one roof”, said CEO Jane Barker.
