The Kids Are Kids! team wore their blue to commemorate Autism Awareness Day

To commemorate Autism Awareness Day on Saturday 2nd April, the team at Kids Are Kids! wore their blue in an effort to raise awareness and celebrate the milestones they’ve helped families with over the years with their children diagnosed with Autism. In fact, windows turned blue, lights turned blue and quirky accessories helped bring a shine of blue to the Bateman Centre.

The Light Up Blue campaign was an initiative developed by ‘Autism Speaks’ and is celebrated each year across the globe.

Kids Are Kids! will be posting facts and tips on our Facebook page in the month of April to help those understand the lives of people living with Autism a little better. We congratulate our Patron Professor Andrew Whitehouse and his Autism Research Team at Telethon Kids Institute for tirelessly investing in Autism and the bettering the futures of people with Autism.
