Teresa Barrie Celebrates 10 Years with Kids Are Kids!

The Board, management and all of staff wish to congratulate Executive Officer, Teresa Barrie, on her 10 year anniversary with Kids Are Kids!

Teresa began with Kids Are Kids! in July 2010 as an experienced manager having worked in the corporate finance industry in administration, accounting and management roles. Her contribution to Kids Are Kids! has been diverse and she has applied her wealth of knowledge to the implementation and management of administration, financial and operational systems, procedures and strategy and has been integral to the success of the organisation.

In 2016 Teresa earned the position of Executive Officer, still managing all the operational facets of the business and acquiring even further responsibility that came with the position of Executive Officer. The positive progression of Kids Are Kids! over the last few years is testament to Teresa’s commitment, determination and passion for the business and exceptional service ethos and delivery.

Joint Executive Officer, Lisa Hoffman said, “So much has changed at Kids Are Kids! particularly over the last 10 years and Teresa has been integral to so many of these. Teresa is an incredible woman whose inner strength, energy and passion for Kids Are Kids! has been inspirational to all of us, and her dedication and generosity of spirit is integral to Kids Are Kids! success”.

Teresa and Lisa share the leadership role at Kids Are Kids! – a formula that works so well. Whilst Lisa’s role is clinical based, Teresa’s is business and their shared approach together has earned the respect and loyalty of over 50 employees at the not for profit organisation.

Teresa continues to be the pillar of strength for the team at Kids Are Kids! providing a flexible, family friendly workplace where people can grow and develop professionally whilst helping children and their families to achieve the best possible outcomes from therapy.

“I really love working at Kids Are Kids! and with all our wonderful staff.  I feel very lucky to be working at an organisation that I am passionate about.  I am so proud of our culture, staff and everything we have achieved.  There have been so many rewards over the years and I look forward to continuing to build Kids Are Kids! and helping  to support many more children and families into the future”, Teresa said.
