Kindy Readiness
The Kindy Readiness Group Program has been designed to support your child to be prepared for their transition to school. The program incorporates a range of activities to target your child’s language, fine motor and literacy skills to best prepare them for Kindy.
The group will focus on the following:
- Familiarizing your child to classroom routines and structured learning
- Understanding language concepts
- Following classroom-based instructions
- Answering (wh-) questions
- Increasing your child’s vocabulary and use of descriptive language
- Developing print awareness and phonological awareness skills
- Developing fine motor skills to complete academic tasks
