PACT Therapy

What is PACT?

Paediatric Autism Communication Therapy (PACT) is an evidence-based intervention where the therapist and parent/carer work collaboratively to enhance social communication and interaction skills with young autistic children or children experiencing similar social communication differences.

What is involved in a PACT session?

As the centre of your child’s daily life and the one who knows them best, our therapists work directly with you.  They will examine video footage of you interacting and playing with your child in their natural environment to help you recognise specific, subtle moments of communication which you might have missed in real time.

Our therapists give you the tools to build on these moments, giving opportunities to extend your child’s interaction and communication skills to the highest possible level.

You should feel empowered to implement these communication opportunities in everyday family life while you watch your child’s interactions and communication grow.
