Telethon Trust Giving Ceremony

Our Executive Officers, Teresa Barrie and Lisa Hoffman, recently attended the Channel 7 Telethon Trust Giving Ceremony, where they proudly accepted a grant to support our innovative work improving literacy and developmental outcomes for young children.

This funding enables us to deliver our life changing Strong Start program to schools in the Armadale and Kwinana regions.  The program identifies children at developmental risk and provides early intervention and support.  The program also upskills school staff to support vulnerable children better in the future.

So far this year, we’ve delivered comprehensive developmental screenings to over 210 Kindergarten and Pre-Primary students. 

By bringing therapy directly into the school environment, our program removes common barriers to access and ensures children who are developmentally vulnerable receive early, targeted support. 

With the support of Telethon and the WA community, we are creating meaningful change and improving outcomes for children and families.
