On the 31st of June, Kids Are Kids! held our Scholarship Assessment Panel at our Bateman centre. We received 57 applications this year, a record for this program.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Azure Capital Foundation, for their third year supporting our Therapy Scholarship Program, Grant Thornton Foundation who have been one of Kids Are Kids! Corporate Partners for many years, Yellow Umbrella Foundation for their second year supporting our scholarships and Powerhouse Dreams. Without their generosity, we wouldn’t have this program to offer some of WA’s most vulnerable children.

We would also like to thank every parent/carer who applied, and our staff who supported families in the process where necessary.

It was an immensely difficult task to go through all the applicants. We had 13 scholarships valued at $2500 each and one $2000 scholarship. Those children and their families have now been notified of the outcome and we look forward to starting therapy soon.
